Skate Against Hate is dedicated to fostering a culture of inclusivity, kindness, and respect within figure skating and youth sports. Inspired by Audrey Lam-Danback’s commitment to standing up against bullying, our organization was created to ensure that every athlete—regardless of gender, identity, background, or personal journey—feels safe, valued, and empowered to pursue their passion.
We believe sports should be a place where character is built, confidence is strengthened, and differences are celebrated. Through advocacy, education, community partnerships, and showcase events featuring elite and Olympic-level athletes, we aim to raise awareness about bullying in sports and actively promote a standard of integrity and compassion both on and off the ice.
By bringing together skaters, coaches, families, and supporters, Skate Against Hate strives to create lasting change—championing an environment where courage replaces cruelty, respect replaces ridicule, and every athlete has the opportunity to thrive.

Founder, Skate Against Hate
Audrey Lam-Danback
Audrey Lam-Danback is a passionate figure skater, student, and advocate for kindness in sport. As the founder of Skate Against Hate, Audrey was inspired to take action after witnessing the impact of bullying within the skating community—particularly toward athletes who challenge traditional norms in the sport. Determined to be a voice for inclusion, she created Skate Against Hate to promote respect, empathy, and encouragement both on and off the ice.
In addition to her commitment to advocacy, Audrey trains regularly and has developed a deep appreciation for the discipline, resilience, and sportsmanship that figure skating demands. She believes athletics should be a place where character is built, confidence is strengthened, and individuality is celebrated—not criticized.
Through Skate Against Hate, Audrey hopes to unite skaters, coaches, families, and communities in fostering a culture where every athlete—regardless of gender, background, or identity—feels safe, supported, and empowered to pursue their dreams. Her mission reflects her belief that even small acts of courage and kindness can create meaningful and lasting change.
